Mediocrity and absurdities galore in this forgettable fare
The first edition of Meka Suri left bitter memories as its way below any standards of storytelling.

Now the second edition of Meka Suri which is streaming on Zee5 gets another extension while getting entangled in Naxalism on one hand and revenge on the other hand with the so called protagonist continuing the war against the wrongdoers.
Story-line
There is nothing as such which is called the story in this film. It goes a step further with Meka Suri continuing his avenging spree and ACP Arjun (Dr Pramod Kumar Pelapudi) breathing down his neck.
While Arjun succeeds in tracing out the movements of Meka Suri, his ploy to make him surrender by using Appalnaidu (Sharatkumar) gets backfired.
Meka Suri’s thirst for blood gets satiated after annihilating Krishna Rao (Viva Reddy) much to the discomfiture of Veerabhadram (Byreddy Naresh) and Arjun who now start seeing the other side of Meka Suri.
Finally, Meka Suri undergoes a transformation with a sudden change of heart following the sermons by Arjun resulting in a miserable climax.
Performances
Only Pramod shows some kind of performance in a badly conceived character of ACP Arjun while Abhinay continues where he has left in the first part and there is nothing much to boast about his otherwise easily forgettable performance.
Behind the scenes
The music by Prajwal Krish which sounded promising in the first part has turned too loud in the second outing with many wild cries and cacophony of instruments dominating the proceedings.
The photography by Pardhu Saina is passable in bits but fails to enhance the mood or purpose, if any, of the film.
The handling of an inept story by director Trinadh Velisila is a big letdown. When there is nothing in the story, any director however capable he is, gets bogged down and all his efforts become futile due to weak storyline. The same thing happened in the case of Trinadh as his choice of accepting a shoddy story like Meka Suri itself is a big blunder.
Verdict & Rating
One of the poorly made films in Telugu web history which is a big zero in all aspects right from the concept to the end including technical aspects.
Moreover, the OTT platforms need to rethink their priorities and it defies any logic as to how a big production house like Zee5 with so many creative brains behind it can accept and promote a pointless film like Meka Suri which offers nothing except magnifying mediocrity and promoting absurdity which is an avoidable fare by all means.
