Sources within the industry have revealed that the producers of Param Sundari made a strategic decision to postpone the film to avoid direct competition with two significant romantic dramas—Anurag Basu’s Metro…In Dino and Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara. The situation is further complicated by Dhadak 2, which is set to open on August 1, creating a congested early August schedule. A source close to the project remarked, “Param Sundari has its own distinct voice. With two romantic dramas being released back-to-back, the creators didn’t want it to get overshadowed by similar narratives. They felt the film would benefit from having more space to breathe.”
The revised release date for Param Sundari is anticipated to be either August 29 or September 5, providing it a better opportunity to stand out and gain visibility at the box office.
