The global girl group KATSEYE has marked a new chapter in its career with the launch of its third extended play, titled “WILD.” Released on 14 August through the joint venture of HYBE and Geffen Records, the five‑track project follows the success of their 2025 debut “BEAUTIFUL CHAOS,” which entered the Billboard 200 top five and earned a Grammy nomination. “WILD” showcases the trio’s artistic growth, blending familiar hits with fresh material that leans into a fiercer, more playful sound.

EP Overview and Tracklist

“WILD” contains the previously released singles “PINKY UP” and “Animal,” alongside three brand‑new songs: “Hootie Frutti,” “Bel Air,” and “That Way.” The EP opens with the energetic “PINKY UP,” a track that first debuted live at Coachella and continues to highlight the group’s bright pop sensibility. “Animal,” a flirtatious anthem co‑written by Ed Sheeran, maintains the playful vibe while adding a touch of sensuality.

The centerpiece, “Hootie Frutti,” draws inspiration from Brazilian phonk percussion, layered over maximalist pop production. Its accompanying music video, directed by Alfred Marroquin and produced by Somesuch, visualises an underground Brazilian party on the brink of ending—until KATSEYE arrives and reignites the celebration.

“Bel Air” explores the bittersweet sensation of outgrowing something once cherished, while the closing track “That Way” shifts focus to power dynamics and desire, offering a reflective end to the EP.

Physical Editions and Bonus Content

Fans purchasing physical copies through Target and select international retailers receive an exclusive bonus track, “Unloveu.” This song was written and produced by KATSEYE member Lara Raj in collaboration with Amy Allen and Ross Golan, adding a personal touch to the release.

THE WILDWORLD TOUR Announcement

Coinciding with the EP drop, KATSEYE announced THE WILDWORLD TOUR, a global arena trek that kicks off at Dublin’s 3Arena on 1 September. The sold‑out trek sold out in under 48 hours and includes two‑night engagements at The O2 in London, UBS Arena in Belmont Park, Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, and Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City. The tour promises to bring the “WILD” era to life on stage, featuring elaborate set designs and choreography that echo the EP’s themes.

Film Release: KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS

Expanding the visual narrative, the group premiered the documentary KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS on 4 August at The Grove in Los Angeles. Directed by Nadia Hallgren, the film presents never‑before‑seen footage, fan‑generated EYEKONS clips, and interviews that delve into the relationship between KATSEYE and its international fandom. Following its premiere, the documentary entered a limited run across 1,700 cinemas in more than 60 countries and is currently screening at Shaw Theatres in Singapore.

Resilience in Rhythm

With “WILD,” KATSEYE demonstrates a confident evolution, marrying infectious pop hooks with daring Brazilian phonk influences. The EP’s release is amplified by a striking music video for “Hootie Frutti,” an imminent worldwide arena tour, and a candid documentary that offers fans an intimate look at the group’s journey. As KATSEYE continues to push creative boundaries, the “WILD” era stands as a testament to their growth, resilience, and unyielding connection with audiences worldwide.
