Wendy’s is collaborating with Netflix’s Wednesday to offer a limited-time fast-food experience that embraces a delightfully dark theme.

Launching in the U.S. on August 4, the “Meal of Misfortune” partnership combines the fast-food powerhouse with the iconic gothic character, delivering a menu that promises chaos, curiosity, and a wealth of sauce-fueled suspense.

The special meal features a 10-piece order of “Rest in 10-Peace” chicken nuggets, a small serving of “Cursed & Crispy” fries, and a small “Raven’s Blood” Frosty— a dark cherry twist on the beloved dessert.

However, the highlight of this meal may just be the “Dips of Dread,” offering four mystery sauces that change with each order. Customers will receive two randomly selected dips per meal from options like “You Can’t Hyde,” “This Will Sting,” “Grave Mistake,” and “Nowhere to Woe.” The twist? Neither customers nor employees will reveal what sauces are included. Wendy’s insists that “you must surrender to your destiny.”

Every meal is presented in custom black packaging that captures the eerie elegance of Wednesday Addams. The Raven’s Blood Frosty is served with a “Spoon of Gloom” and themed cups, creating a fully immersive and Instagram-worthy experience for fans of the series.

“Wendy’s and Wednesday are both cultural icons known for their cleverness and a touch of cheekiness,” said Lindsay Radkoski, U.S. Chief Marketing Officer at The Wendy’s Company. “This is not just any ordinary collaboration; only a brand with our strong customer focus and bold attitude could come up with a Meal of Misfortune alongside Wednesday Addams. It’s truly a partnership made in a dark, dry-witted heaven.”

Even Wednesday herself expressed interest in this unconventional collaboration.

“Typically, I would oppose this sort of corporate synergy,” remarked the famously stoic student from Nevermore Academy. “But when the fast-food-slinging provocateur told me I could have full creative control over her customers, I simply couldn’t resist.”

The promotion features an interactive mini-game called “Escape from Wednesday’s Woe,” which is exclusively available in the Wendy’s app. The game invites players to assist Wendy in avoiding the pitfalls of normalcy, maneuver past obstacles, collect virtual treats, and enter for a chance to win $10,000.

Timed to coincide with the premiere of Wednesday Season 2 Part 1 on Netflix on August 6, this collaboration taps into the quirky, moody energy that has made both Wendy’s and Wednesday beloved by fans. With surprising flavors, mystery sauces, and just the right amount of ominousness, this is not your typical happy meal; it’s something far more captivating—and perhaps a little cursed.
