The digital platform Zee5 is known for its content based web series, originals, and shows in all Indian languages with particular emphasis on Telugu. Some of the successful web series including Chadarangam, which won the award for Best Web Series- Regional (Telugu) in Best Streaming Media Awards 2021 from e4m Group to the latest Shootout At Alair, Zee5 has proved its consistency in presenting quality web series to Telugu people.

Zee5 has teamed up with the award winning director Tharun Bhascker to bring out another winner Room No. 54, a  unique story of four engineering students who stay in the college hostel in Room No. 54 which holds a special place and distinct bonding among the students. The challenges faced by these four students who come from a middle class background in this room forms the interesting plot of Room No. 54.

Helmed by debutant director Siddharth Gowtham who had also written the story, Room No. 54 stars Moin in the role of Venkat Rao, Krishna Prasad as Yuvaraj, Pawan Ramesh as Prasanna along with Krishna Teja, Swetha, and Navya play important characters in this web series.

Tharun Bhascker who presented this series who made his digital debut in the anthology Pitta Kathalu is all confident about Room No. 54 and according to him, it will be identifiable by all who miss those wonderful moments of college days during these times of coronavirus and lockdown. This web series will rekindle all those memories and make you remember all your old college friends, says Tharun. No doubt, the mark of Tharun Bhascker will be seen in this series which is going to usher more fun, entertainment, and heart warming elements that are very much needed at this hour.

Room No. 54 is streaming on Zee5 from May 21.
