Kapil Sharma is ready to make audiences laugh all over again as Netflix officially announces the launch date for Season 4 of The Great Indian Kapil Show. Scheduled to premiere on December 20, the upcoming season promises an expanded comedic universe, exciting new characters, and a dynamic guest list that will keep viewers hooked every weekend.
Following the immense popularity of previous seasons, Season 4 will see Sharma reinvent himself with fresh comic personas including “Gen Z Baba,” “Tau Ji,” “Raja,” and “Mantri Ji” — while also bringing back the beloved roles that fans have cherished over the years. According to the creators, the “mastiverse” — a term coined to describe this enlarged comedy world — is designed to entertain audiences across generations, blending brand new concepts with the familiar charm that defines the show.
The guest appearances this season are set to be more diverse than ever. From cricket World Cup champions and international personalities to trending Gen Z influencers and vibrant Bhojpuri entertainers, each episode aims to deliver unexpected encounters and lively banter that keep the format fresh.
Kapil will once again be joined on stage by his trusted on-screen family. Sunil Grover makes his much-anticipated return, bringing his signature ability to turn everyday scenarios into hilarious sketches. Comedy stalwarts Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda will showcase quirky new transformations, pushing boundaries of physical and situational comedy. Audience favourites Archana Puran Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu also return — Singh with her iconic infectious laughter, Sidhu with his trademark witty one-liners and energetic presence.
