We have earlier seen what Naveen Polishetty, the most underrated actor is capable of doing by his super hit film Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya and the wonders it created are known to everyone. Now Naveen who has become a name to reckon with, tried his luck with Jathi Ratnalu which created the buzz much before the release with the trailer and unique promotions.

The story is wafer thin. Three buddies Srikanth (Naveen Polishetty), Sekhar (Priyadarshi), and  Ravi (Rahul Ramakrishna) land up in Hyderabad from Jogipet to do something to prove themselves. These three are quite different in their characters and behaviours and this uniqueness has paid off well in creating the much needed brouhaha between them. Unfortunately, they end up in jail after getting implicated in the murder case of a local MLA after some hilarious incidents. How they come out of this case and what did they do to safe guard their self-esteem is the remaining part of Jathi Ratnalu.

The one-liners and comic timing between the trio Naveen, Rahul and Priyadarshi is the lifeline of this film. The director Anudeep has succeeded in making Jathi Ratnalu as an outright comedy entertainer by exploiting the presence of the three highly talented actors who have done a brilliant job. The cameos by Brahmandam and ‘Vennela’ Kishore are an added attraction in uplifting the comedy quotient in the film. The new face Faria Abdullah looks promising and she has put up a decent performance.

Those who enjoy comedy can go for Jathi Ratnalu without any second thought to have a joyful rollercoaster ride by forgetting about the storyline and other trivial aspects to enjoy for a cool 123 minutes.
