In an era increasingly seeking solutions to complex global challenges, a groundbreaking new documentary series, How To Change The World, is poised to shift perceptions of entrepreneurship. Moving beyond conventional metrics of profit and rapid growth, this compelling ten-episode series casts a spotlight on visionary individuals who harness the power of business to cultivate stronger communities, address pressing societal issues, and engineer profound, lasting transformation.

Beyond the Bottom Line: A New Definition of Success

Traditional narratives often portray entrepreneurship through the lens of maximizing financial returns, quick sales, or lucrative exits. However, How To Change The World introduces an alternative paradigm, showcasing entrepreneurs who define their achievements not solely by personal gain, but by the tangible positive impact their ventures contribute to society. According to a press release, the series illuminates how entrepreneurial spirit can ignite significant positive change when true success is measured by a business’s capacity for societal contribution.

The power of storytelling is central to the series’ mission. Narratives possess an unparalleled capacity to illuminate previously unseen challenges, fostering empathy and understanding among audiences. Documentary filmmaking, in particular, serves as a potent catalyst for change, connecting viewers with remarkable individuals actively developing solutions and sharing their inspiring journeys of hope and resilience. By showcasing these purpose-driven innovators, How To Change The World demonstrates the boundless potential when determination and perseverance drive business ambition towards collective well-being. The series is set to premiere on September 10, 2026, with new episodes released weekly.

Stories of Transformation: Diverse Ventures, Global Impact

The series delves into the myriad forms social entrepreneurship can take, presenting a rich tapestry of initiatives tackling a wide spectrum of issues. The premiere episode, airing on September 10, 2026, features Coral Vita, an organization dedicated to safeguarding vital coral ecosystems – critical biodiverse habitats threatened by climate change. Subsequent episodes introduce viewers to the profound work of KOTN, a company committed to ethical practices by directly collaborating with cotton-farming communities in Egypt’s Nile Delta, ensuring fair wages and sustainable livelihoods. Another segment highlights Lufa Farms, where founder Mohamed Hage explores innovative strategies for urban food production, imagining a future where cities can cultivate more of their own sustenance.

The scope of How To Change The World extends further, bringing to light initiatives addressing some of the most critical societal concerns. Viewers will be taken on journeys into efforts aimed at reducing gun violence and fostering peace within communities in Chicago, exploring pathways to expand access to justice within complex legal systems, and investigating emerging approaches to responsible ocean farming that promise ecological and economic benefits. The series also critically examines and challenges America’s intricate food system, advocating for more equitable and sustainable practices. The season culminates on November 12 with the story of Ginjan, a powerful narrative of resilience involving two brothers from Guinea who confront numerous setbacks while building a successful business in the United States. Throughout these diverse challenges, the series powerfully underscores how unwavering persistence can pave the way for true, meaningful change.

The Visionaries Behind the Venture

This ambitious documentary series is the brainchild of World Within founder and CEO Rostam Zafari and co-founder Dylan Mulick, who collaboratively brought the concept to life. The production itself is a joint effort between World Within Studios and Religion of Sports, two entities known for their commitment to compelling, impactful storytelling. A formidable team of executive producers guided the project, including Rostam Zafari, Dylan Mulick, entrepreneur and investor Mark Cuban, Geralyn Dreyfous, Gotham Chopra, and Victor Buhler. According to a statement provided to Goodnet, these individuals ensured that the series remained focused on founders utilizing business as a catalyst for positive communal change. Mark Cuban articulated his commitment, stating, “I don’t back a project unless the people behind it are doing the work, not just talking about it,” emphasizing the authentic, action-oriented nature of the featured entrepreneurs.

A Platform for Inspiration and Action

How To Change The World offers not just inspiration but also accessibility. The entire ten-episode series will stream for free on World Within Studios’ official YouTube channel, with new episodes released every Thursday. This free distribution model ensures that these vital stories of social entrepreneurship and impactful innovation can reach a global audience, fostering a broader understanding of how business can truly serve humanity. By providing a platform for these changemakers, the series encourages viewers to reconsider their own potential to contribute to a world defined by greater equity, sustainability, and collective prosperity.
