ANUSHKA’S ‘PAATAL LOK’
TO PREMIERE ON AMAZON PRIME
Anushka Sharma is all set to premiere her maiden production for the webspace, which is a web series for Amazon Prime Video. This was announced by Amazon Prime Video on social networking sites and also released a short video with a description:
“everything will change-time,people and era”
The promo clip shows a man splattering blood with the sword he holds menacingly in his hand, as the voice-over says with a doomsday-like foreboding —
“The countdown has begun. To change the law of the land, the worms have crept in, who will spread terror and shed blood. They will turn the world into a living hell.”
The upcoming series is written by Hardik Mehta, of Kamyaab fame, and has been directed by Sudip Sharma, of NH10 fame. The cast includes actors such as Gul Panag, Jaideep Ahlawat, Neeraj Kabi, Abhishek Banerjee, Swastika Mukherjee, Jagjeet Sandhu, among others.

The clip sends across the message that the countdown has begun and the law of the land is going to be changed by worms that will spread their venom, shed blood, and bring hell on earth.
The web series is going to be a crime-drama. It is written by Sudip Sharma, whois known for writing films like NH10 and Udta Punjab. The show is supposed to be a commentary on modern-day Indian society and politics.
Pataal Lok will star Jaideep Ahlawat, Neeraj Kabi and Gul Panag, Swastika Mukherjee, and more.
Clean Slate Films is owned by actress Anushka Sharma and Karnesh Sharma. Paatal Lok will be her digital debut as a producer.
