Amazon Music has confirmed the comeback of its Amazon Music Live concert series, which airs directly after Thursday Night Football on Amazon Music, Prime Video, Twitch, Amazon Live and the Amazon Music app on Fire TV. This year the franchise takes the show on the road, broadcasting recent performances from some of the nation’s biggest tours.
Season Opener: Noah Kahan’s Final U.S. Stadium Show
The series launches on September 24 with a broadcast of Noah Kahan’s last United States date of his sold‑out Great Divide World Tour at Seattle’s T‑Mobile Park. The performance marks the culmination of a tour that followed the release of what critics have called 2026’s most defining albums, positioning Kahan as one of the year’s most formidable live acts.
Don Toliver Brings the OCTANE Tour Finale
On October 1, Don Toliver appears in Amazon Music Live with a broadcast of the finale of the second leg of his critically acclaimed, sold‑out North American OCTANE Tour at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. Toliver, who serves as executive producer, songwriter, creative director and visual artist for the show, demonstrates live how he fuses hip‑hop, rap, R&B and cinematic storytelling into a single, immersive experience.
Lainey Wilson’s First Arena Appearance
October 15 features Lainey Wilson’s performance from the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut. The concert captures Wilson’s inaugural arena show, highlighting her signature blend of contemporary country, roots‑focused storytelling and high‑energy stage presence.
Doja Cat’s Birthday Celebration at The Forum
The season closes on October 29 with a special birthday show from Doja Cat at Los Angeles’ The Forum. The artist, who will be celebrating her birthday the day before the performance, promises a set that mixes pop, rap and R&B, supplemented by a few surprise elements. Doja Cat remarked, “I’m playing The Forum the day after my birthday, and I’m spending it onstage doing what I love most. That’s already special. But the fact that Amazon Music Live is bringing that energy to everyone at home? Now it’s a party. I put everything into these shows—every night—and I want people to see exactly what that looks like up close.”
Executive Perspective
Kirdis Postelle, Global Head of Artist and Fan Experiences at Amazon Music, said, “This season of Amazon Music Live will give fans a front‑row seat to some of the most talked‑about tours of the year. From Noah Kahan’s final U.S. stadium show to Doja’s hometown birthday celebration at The Forum, Amazon Music Live will continue to bring fans closer to the artists and shows shaping music and culture right now.”
Streaming Landscape Context
While Amazon Music Live adds high‑profile content to the platform, the broader streaming market shows mixed results for Amazon Music. YouTube Music reported strong subscriber growth throughout the year, and Apple Music has overtaken Spotify as the leading streaming provider in the United States. In contrast, Amazon Music’s subscriber base has experienced a steady decline over recent seasons, underscoring the importance of exclusive live events like Amazon Music Live in retaining and attracting listeners.
