The highly anticipated trailer for Kuberaa has finally been released, providing audiences with a thrilling insight into a narrative where ambition, loyalty, and greed intersect. Directed by the acclaimed National Award-winning filmmaker Sekhar Kammula, the film features notable performances by Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh in significant roles.
Clocking in at two minutes and thirty-eight seconds, the trailer immerses viewers in the intense pursuit of wealth and power led by Dhanush’s character, who displays an insatiable drive for success. In stark contrast, Nagarjuna portrays Deva, a man intent on realizing his ambitions through non-violent means, which injects a moral complexity into the high-stakes storyline.
Rashmika Mandanna brings a radiant presence to the film as Dhanush’s love interest, infusing the gritty narrative with warmth and emotional depth. At the same time, Jim Sarbh introduces an element of unpredictability into the already tumultuous dynamic.
The trailer offers glimpses of heart-pounding action, simmering betrayals, and raw emotions, all set against a realistic backdrop brought to life by Niketh Bommireddy’s striking cinematography. The film will be presented in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, broadening its appeal to a pan-Indian audience. It has recently obtained its final certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Initially, the filmmakers submitted a 195-minute version, which received approval without any objections; however, they later opted to shorten the runtime for a more streamlined viewing experience. Aiming for early certification to prevent any last-minute issues, they indicated the likelihood of trimming the film. Staying true to this decision, the final cut now runs for 181 minutes, just over three hours, and has received a U/A rating.
Kuberaa is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. It is co-produced by Vipul Agarwal and Manish Vasisth, with Mugafi handling presentation for the North Indian market and overseeing its distribution in the region.
The film is set to have its worldwide theatrical premiere on June 20, 2025.
