Today, Prime Video, India’s leading entertainment platform, revealed the global release date for the upcoming Telugu Original film, Uppu Kappurambu.
The film is penned by Vasanth Maringanti and directed by Ani. I.V. Sasi, with Radhika Lavu producing under the Ellanar Films Pvt Ltd banner.
Set in the 1990s, this coming-of-age satire revolves around the residents of Chitti Jayapuram, a fictional town in the heart of South India, as they grapple with the increasing pressures on their burial infrastructure.
Featuring a talented cast that includes Keerthy Suresh, Suhas, Babu Mohan, Shatru, and Talluri Rameshwari, the movie will be available in Telugu, along with dubbed versions in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Uppu Kappurambu is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video in India and in over 240 countries and territories worldwide on July 4. It offers a humorous perspective on a societal issue, filled with quirky moments, wit, and comedy.
