The Yellowstone universe is charging forward with fresh stories, and fans are getting their first official glimpse at its latest chapter. Paramount and CBS have revealed the debut trailer for Y: Marshals, a high-octane spinoff set to premiere on March 1, 2026. Packed with gripping frontier justice and adrenaline-fueled action, the series promises to deliver the most intense installment yet in Taylor Sheridan’s ever-expanding neo-western saga.
Set after the dramatic conclusion of the flagship Yellowstone series, Y: Marshals follows Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) as he leaves behind the iconic Dutton Ranch to take on a dangerous new role as a U.S. Marshal in Montana. Combining his background as a skilled cowboy and former Navy SEAL, Kayce becomes part of an elite law enforcement unit guarding the state’s last line of defense against violent threats.
The series introduces a fresh roster of characters, including Logan Marshall-Green (Upgrade) as fellow marshal Pete Calvin, Arielle Kebbel (Belle Skinner), Ash Santos (Andrea Cruz), and Tatanka Means (Miles Kittle). Familiar faces from Yellowstone will also return—Gil Birmingham reprises his role as Thomas Rainwater, alongside Mo Brings Plenty as Mo, and Brecken Merrill as Kayce’s son, Tate Dutton.
According to the official synopsis, Kayce and his team must navigate the psychological toll of their dangerous work while balancing personal relationships. With Montana’s rugged landscapes as a backdrop, Y: Marshals blends Sheridan’s signature gritty storytelling with explosive action sequences, making it a standout addition to the franchise.
But Y: Marshals is just the beginning. Fans can also look forward to Dutton Ranch, a direct sequel to Yellowstone that will once again spotlight Kelly Reilly as Beth Dutton and Cole Hauser as Rip Wheeler. This series will follow the couple, joined by Carter (Finn Little), as they protect their sprawling 7,000-acre ranch from new rivals and hidden threats. Additional cast members include Ed Harris, Annette Bening, and Jai Courtney, bringing even more star power to the lineup.
While Dutton Ranch does not yet have an official release date, it is expected to hit Paramount+ in 2026. In the meantime, viewers can anticipate The Madison, another upcoming Yellowstone-connected drama led by Michelle Pfeiffer, already confirmed for a second season before its debut.
With multiple projects on the horizon, it’s clear the Yellowstone universe isn’t just continuing—it’s evolving into an interconnected storytelling powerhouse, ensuring fans have plenty of drama, action, and intrigue to look forward to.
