The highly anticipated third season of Netflix’s beloved teen drama, XO, Kitty, a spin-off from the popular To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before film series, is officially set to charm audiences once more. Netflix recently announced that the series will return on April 2, revealing exciting new details and tantalizing first-look images that hint at fresh romantic entanglements and pivotal decisions for its young protagonist.

The Return of Kitty’s Quest for Love

Fans have been on tenterhooks since the thrilling conclusion of XO, Kitty Season 2, which left viewers in suspense over Kitty’s ultimate romantic choice between Min-Ho and Yuri. Their wait is almost over. The streaming giant has confirmed the April 2 global premiere for Season 3, much to the delight of its dedicated fanbase. The upcoming installment will maintain the show’s established format of eight engaging 30-minute episodes, promising a concise yet captivating narrative arc.

What Awaits Kitty in Korea?

According to the official synopsis, this season will see Kitty “make meaningful memories with her friends, grow closer to her relatives in Korea and make big decisions about her future.” This promises a period of significant personal growth and potentially complex dilemmas for Kitty Song Covey. Netflix previously marked the completion of filming on July 17, sharing an exclusive behind-the-scenes video featuring lead actress Anna Cathcart alongside fellow cast members Sang Heon Lee, Choi Min-Young, Gia Kim, and Anthony Keyvan, building early momentum for the new episodes. Prior to this, Cathcart herself created a buzz by sharing a clip of her receiving a bound script for the third season, officially confirming the show’s continuation.

Exclusive Glimpses and Familiar Faces

Accompanying the release date announcement, Netflix unveiled a collection of first-look images from Season 3. One particularly captivating still features Anna Cathcart’s Kitty Song Covey in an apparently affectionate moment with her on-screen love interest, Min Ho, portrayed by Sang Heon Lee, hinting at a deepening connection. While details remain tightly under wraps, these images confirm the return of several fan-favorite characters, including Minyeong Choi as Dae, Anthony Keyvan as Q, Gia Kim as Yuri, Regan Aliyah as Juliana, Joshua Lee as Jin, Sasha Bhasin as Praveena, Jocelyn Shelfo as Madison, Han Bi Ryu as Eunice, and Sunny Oh as Mihee.

Newcomers and Expanded Roles

The upcoming season will also introduce fresh faces to the dynamic ensemble. Actors Sule Thelwell (Saint X), Soy Kim (Like a French Film, Sorry Not Sorry), and Christine Hwang (Law and Order: SVU) are set to join the cast, bringing new storylines and relationships into play. Additionally, Hojo Shin, who portrays Jiwon, has been promoted to a series regular, suggesting a more significant role in the unfolding drama.

XO, Kitty has quickly established itself as one of Netflix’s most successful teen series since its debut in May 2023. Its rapid renewal for a third iteration, following swiftly after its second season concluded, underscores its widespread popularity and strong viewer engagement. Prepare to dive back into Kitty’s world of love, friendship, and self-discovery this April.
