The Family Man is the most successful web series on Amazon Prime which went on to win not only hearts but many awards. It literally swept the Flyx Filmfare OTT awards 2020 with five awards.

Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari has won the Best Actor (Critics) award whereas the directors Raj & DK won the Best Director (Critics) award and Best Actess (Critics) award went to Priyamani along with winning  Best Series (Critics) and Best Dialogues awards.

Why The Family Man is so special? The first season which was released on Sept 20, 2019 and the second season is going to release on June 4 after a gap of 19+ months is still getting amazing response everywhere. Unfortunately, the release got delayed due to various reasons which made The Family Man also to rethink and revamp its final strategies.

The character of an undercover analyst in the fictional Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASPAC) who snoops on the movements of his wife while dealing with notorious terrorist on the other hand was captured rather beautifully in the first season. The emotional balance shown by Srikant Tiwari amidst disturbances in his personal life is something which made the character reach the hearts of audience. A ruthless taskmaster who guns down enemies at the blink of an eye and cracks the plots of  terrorists in a jiffy is also prone to disturbances and turbulence in family life like every human being was presented in a very realistic way by the directors Raj & DK.

The whole story arc with each and every character having their own identities like Suchita as Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi as Talpade, Neeraj Madhav as Moosa, Shreya Dhanwantary as Zoya, Sharad Kelkar as Arvind, Sunny Hinduja as Milind, Gul Panag as Saloni, and Sundeep Kishen as Major Vikram have got well written characters who play an important role in driving the narrative forward. This is the another awesome feature behind the unprecedented success of The Family Man.

Now, with the entry of Samantha Akkineni the star cast gets more colourful and power packed too as she is going to be seen in a never before character and according to the reports that are making rounds in the social media platforms and equally evident from the trailer, Samantha as Raji is going to be the special attraction of Season 2.

The trailer of Season 2 of Family Man released today is packed with all ingredients including the emotions, action, and drama. Now there is a Chennai connection to the latest season which makes it even more interesting.

The Season 2 of Family Man is ready to stream on June 4 on Amazon Prime Video in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
