Swara chases human traffickers in cop drama
Swara Bhaskar after a not so memorable digital debut with Rasbhari, has now donned the police uniform in Flesh, an intriguing tale of a fiery cop’s fight against human trafficking.
Flesh, an Eros original series which is to premiere on Aug 21 whose first trailer was released today encompasses various shades of human trafficking with lot of drama and action.
Written by Pooja Ladha Surti who is the co-writer of critically acclaimed Andhadun and produced and created by Siddharth Anand and directed by Danish Aslam, Flesh boasts of talented actors like Akshay Oberoi, Yudhister, Vidya Malvade and Mahima Makawana along with Swara Bhaskar who is playing the character of cop for the first time in her career. She is reasonably excited to play this as it consists of some high octane action scenes in her fight against the evil and its perpetrators which is assuming dangerous proportions where for every 8 minutes one child goes missing in India.
Though the trailer shows more blood and gore along with some high end action flicks, how ACP Radha Nautiyal the police officer played by Swara Bhaskar tackles this menace of human trafficking and how she go about her task of saving girls like Zoya and many more from the clutches of dreadful human traffickers in this 8-episode web series Flesh remains to be seen.
As horrifying as it seems, a child goes missing every 8 minutes in India.
