Netflix is gearing up to deliver an exciting lineup of fresh content as October draws to a close. From October 27 through November 2, 2025, viewers can look forward to a variety of new TV shows and movies — including thrilling dramas, supernatural stories, and returning fan favorites. Among the highlights are The Asset, Dark Winds, Rulers of Fortune, and NOS4A2 Seasons 1–2.

Major Netflix Releases This Week

The Asset premieres on Monday, October 27, bringing espionage, tension, and emotional depth to the screen. The series follows a young undercover agent who forms an unexpected bond with a drug trafficker’s wife. As her mission unfolds, loyalties blur and danger heightens, making this one a must-watch for fans of crime thrillers.

Also launching on the same day is Dark Winds, a gripping mystery inspired by the Navajo Nation. The show centers on three tribal police officers investigating a double homicide while confronting personal demons and cultural challenges. Its captivating storytelling and atmospheric setting make it a standout addition to Netflix’s drama catalog.

Another noteworthy arrival is Rulers of Fortune, debuting Wednesday, October 29. The series tells the story of Rio, a crime boss whose empire starts to crumble after gambling is legalized and a fresh rival enters the scene. Expect power plays, betrayal, and high-stakes drama in this new crime saga.

Horror fans are in for a treat as NOS4A2 Seasons 1–2 hit the platform midweek. The chilling supernatural series follows Charlie Manx — an immortal being who preys on children’s souls — and Vic McQueen, a determined young woman capable of tracking him across dimensions. Their intense confrontation promises suspense, terror, and emotional depth.

Alongside these flagship releases, Netflix is dropping even more content to satisfy every taste:
