Revenge knows no fear

The most awaited trailer of Mirzapur Season 2 was launched by Amazon Prime Video today amidst great expectations.

The series is created by Puneet Krishna and directed by Mihir Desai and Gurmmeet Singh. This sequel to one of the most successful web series in 2018 is all set to stream on Amazon Prime from the 23rd of October.

From the trailer, it could be easily concluded that Ali Fazal, who plays the role of Guddu Pandit turned meaner than ever. His looks and dialogues were quite impressive in the trailer.  Season 1 concluded on a suspenseful note with Divyendu Sharma who played the role of a powerful goon Munna Bhaiya killing Guddu’s Wife Sweety (Shriya Pilgaonkar) and his brother Bablu (Vikrant Massey).

So, Mirzapur 2 is now on the path of Revenge which knows no Fear and nothing else matters.  Golu Gupta played by Shweta Tripathi and Guddu together plan the revenge against Munna Bhaiya and his father Kaleen Bhaiya played by the highly talented Pankaj Tripathi. For those who don’t know, Kaleen Bhaiya is the antagonist of the famous series who rules Mirzapur behind a mafia while exporting carpets.

The trailer also shows Rasika Dugal as Beena Tripathi and Kulbhushan Kharbanda as Satyanand Tripathi reappearing in the season 2 as well adding more spice to the season. Along with the stellar star cast, many new faces joined the second season like Anjum Sharma, Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, and Amit Sial. It remains to be seen how they are going to fare in the new season.

The time for all the fans of Mirzapur who have been eagerly waiting for season two has finally arrived creating more buzz than expected as the number of views the trailer got on its first day of launch itself demonstrates the immense popularity of this series.

Go and watch the trailer now if you haven’t already and mark your calendars to catch the premiere.
