Last Summer K-Drama Overview
The much-anticipated Korean drama Last Summer has officially made its OTT debut in India, offering viewers a delicate blend of romance, nostalgia, and emotional depth. Featuring popular actors Lee Jae Wook and Choi Sung Eun in lead roles, this series is already capturing hearts with its touching portrayal of love and second chances.

Set against the scenic backdrop of the fictional village “Patan,” Last Summer paints a moving picture of two people reconnecting after years apart. The series first aired on November 1, 2025, and quickly became a trending topic across K-drama communities for its cinematic visuals and poignant storytelling.

Plot Summary – A Romance Rekindled Amid Unresolved Pasts
At its core, Last Summer tells the story of Baek Do Ha (played by Lee Jae Wook), a man who returns to his hometown after spending years abroad. His return coincides with an emotional reunion with his childhood friend, Song Ha Kyung (Choi Sung Eun), now a civil servant longing to leave her small-town life behind. Their renewed connection is anything but simple, as an old property dispute involving the “Peanut House” revives memories, regrets, and emotions they thought were long buried.

Adding more intrigue is Seo Soo Hyuk, Do Ha’s lawyer, who finds himself unexpectedly entangled in the pair’s complex history. As their relationships evolve, Last Summer transforms from a quiet village story into a soulful drama about forgiveness, emotional healing, and the courage to confront the past.

Family, Secrets, and Second Chances
Beyond its romantic elements, Last Summer also explores family relationships—especially the strained bond between Do Ha and his twin brother, Baek Do Young. As long-held secrets begin to surface, the siblings are forced to confront their shared history and find closure. The series delicately balances love and self-discovery, giving viewers both heartfelt moments and an undercurrent of mystery.

Where and When to Watch in India
Last Summer consists of 12 episodes, airing every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 PM KST. Indian K-drama fans can stream new episodes on Viki, where they premiere at 5:50 PM IST. Episode 3, releasing on November 8, promises deeper emotional twists and new revelations about the past that binds Baek Do Ha and Song Ha Kyung.

Why You Should Watch
With stellar performances, a beautifully crafted setting, and relatable themes of love, memory, and reconciliation, Last Summer stands out as one of the year’s most moving K-dramas. For fans of emotional storytelling and slow-burn romance, this series is a perfect weekend binge.
