The acclaimed actor Pankaj Tripathi reprises his beloved role in the eagerly anticipated fourth season of Criminal Justice: A Family Matter. The recently released teaser offers a tantalizing glimpse into what promises to be another intense chapter in this popular legal drama. We see Tripathi embodying Madhav Mishra, exuding his trademark wit and resolute determination. This time, Mishra is drawn into a tumultuous love affair and a shocking murder case, elevating the stakes to unprecedented levels.

Tripathi himself describes this return as a heartfelt “homecoming.” He expressed, “Criminal Justice feels like a homecoming to me. Every time I come back as Madhav Mishra, it feels like reconnecting with an old friend who still has something new to impart. There’s a genuine honesty and warmth to him that audiences have cherished throughout every season. That affection is incredibly humbling. Madhav isn’t just a character; he’s a part of me, and with each new chapter, our bond deepens. I’m excited to be back and can’t wait for fans to join us once again in the courtroom.”

Director Rohan Sippy shared his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “It’s been a true pleasure to work with Pankaj Tripathi again, who has made Madhav Mishra such an unforgettable courtroom figure. This season features a powerful new cast that complements him beautifully, creating a unique legal thriller that will deeply engage audiences. We hope to continue the remarkable legacy we’ve built with our incredible team at JioHotstar, bringing this fourth season to as wide an audience as possible.”

Joining Tripathi in this new season are Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Surveen Chawla, Mita Vashisht, Asha Negi, Shweta Basu Prasad, Khushboo Atre, and Barkha Singh, each playing crucial roles in the unfolding drama.

Produced by Applause Entertainment in collaboration with BBC Studios India and directed by Rohan Sippy, Criminal Justice Season 4 is set to stream starting May 22 on JioHotstar.
