Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s period drama, directed by Jyothi Krishna, is gearing up for an impressive launch. The film is divided into two parts, with the first installment, Sword vs Spirit, set to hit theaters on July 24, 2025.
Promotional activities are in full swing, and today, the team unveiled a powerful trailer that delighted fans. The three-minute trailer shows Bobby Deol in the intimidating role of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, who is on the hunt for the highly sought-after Kohinoor, earning him the title “Sword of Fear.”
The trailer opens with a voice-over describing the oppression faced by Hindus under a cruel ruler. We then meet Deol’s character, Aurangzeb, a merciless king who slays without regret and possesses the coveted Koh-i-Noor diamond. Kalyan, portraying Veera Mallu, makes a striking entrance as he confronts a tiger while expertly brandishing a sword. His goal in the film is to reclaim the Koh-i-Noor from Aurangzeb and put an end to his reign of terror.
Pawan Kalyan is showcased in a commanding manner as Hari Hara Veera Mallu, the guardian of Dharma, determined to keep the Kohinoor from falling into the hands of the ruthless Mughals. He appears both royal and majestic, delivering impactful dialogues.
Nidhhi Agerwal portrays the beautiful princess Panchami. The music and background score by Keeravani enhance the scenes, while the cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and Gnana Shekar V.S. adds significant value to the film. Other key roles include Nargis Fakhri, Nora Fatehi, and Satyaraj. The dialogues were crafted by Sai Madhav Burra, and the film is produced by AM.Ratham under the Mega Surya Productions banner.
However, a planned trailer screening event for Hari Hara Veera Mallu at the prestigious Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad was called off due to an unexpectedly large turnout of fans, which raised safety concerns. The event attracted such massive crowds that local authorities had to step in to maintain order.
The incident unfolded at Sandhya Theatre, situated at RTC X Roads where enthusiastic fans gathered in significant numbers to collect entry passes. As the crowd grew beyond manageable proportions, the local police intervened to ensure public safety.
Due to these security concerns, the theatre’s management opted to cancel the screening. Despite the cancellation at Sandhya Theatre, the trailer screening for Hari Hara Veera Mallu will continue as scheduled at select venues throughout Hyderabad.
July 24 is destined to be a significant day for Pawan Kalyan’s fans, who have been eagerly anticipating his return. While the film’s success is yet to be determined, the enthusiastic endorsements from Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan have certainly heightened expectations for Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which is set to be a major cinematic event.
