He noted that she would be kept at Casa Grande in Lower Parel, her longtime residence, before the final rites. The medical team at Breach Candy Hospital, led by Dr. Pratit Samdani, also confirmed the news. In recognition of her unparalleled contribution to the nation, the government announced that she would be cremated with full state honors at Shivaji Park.
