The global phenomenon BTS shows no signs of slowing down its record-breaking pace, this time garnering prestigious new accolades in one of the world’s largest music markets. The South Korean supergroup has once again been honored by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), adding two significant streaming certifications to their ever-growing trophy case.
The RIAJ’s latest monthly report confirmed that two of the group’s standout tracks have soared past major streaming milestones. “Yet To Come,” the poignant title track from their 2022 anthology album ‘Proof,’ has officially surpassed an impressive 100 million cumulative streams in Japan. Simultaneously, the fan-adored deep cut “Love Maze” from their third studio album, ‘LOVE YOURSELF 轉 ‘Tear,’’ has cleared the 50 million stream mark. These achievements, recorded as of December 2025, have earned the songs Platinum and Gold certifications, respectively.
The RIAJ’s certification framework is a rigorous benchmark for success in the Japanese music industry, awarded based on cumulative streaming figures: Gold for 50 million streams, Platinum for 100 million, and the coveted Diamond certification for over 500 million streams. With these latest additions, BTS’s total count in Japan now stands at a staggering 16 Platinum and 48 Gold certifications. This further cements their status as a powerhouse in the region. Notably, they remain the only K-pop act to have ever achieved the Diamond certification, a honor bestowed upon their global smashes “Dynamite” and “Butter.”
The timing of this streaming surge is no coincidence. It is widely seen as a direct reflection of the immense anticipation building among the BTS ARMY worldwide ahead of the group’s long-awaited full-group comeback. After a period focused on individual projects, the band is poised for a monumental return.
