In the narrative, Farrell plays an abusive husband, Johnson portrays his current wife who mysteriously falls ill, and Swift appears as his former partner, haunting the story as a ghost. Late in the video, Farrell’s character tells Johnson he thought she was different, prompting her to ask who she differs from.
