JioHotstar has officially revealed its Telugu Originals lineup for 2026, and the announcement is nothing short of a treat for fans of regional streaming entertainment. Bringing together returning favourites with several fresh stories, the upcoming slate signals a bold step forward for the platform’s Telugu content portfolio.
Over the past few years, JioHotstar has steadily carved its niche in the Telugu OTT space, but 2026 promises an expanded range and higher production values. Well-known actors, directors, and writers from the Telugu industry are joining forces for a line-up that blends drama, comedy, suspense, and youthful storytelling.
Save The Tigers Season 3
Among the highlights is the much-anticipated third instalment of Save The Tigers, one of JioHotstar’s most-watched Telugu shows. Featuring Priyadarshi, Chaitanya Krishna, and Abhinav Gomatam, the teaser hints at a quirky turn in the story — this season sees the men stressed as their wives take the lead with unapologetic confidence.
Moodu Lantharlu
This witty period comedy is set in the late ’90s, during the liquor prohibition era in the undivided Andhra Pradesh under then Chief Minister NTR. Directed by Gopala Krishna and starring Sai Kumar, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Karthik Rathnam, the series navigates the chaos and humour that follow the sudden alcohol ban.
Varam
For those who enjoy thought-provoking drama, Varam offers a unique premise. It follows a man whose life changes overnight after discovering a mysterious ability that brings him wealth. The show explores themes of power, morality, and how sudden fortune can shape destiny.

Vishaka
Marking Kajal Aggarwal’s debut in Telugu digital content, Vishaka is penned by BVS Ravi and directed by Sudheer Varma. Kajal plays a determined mother willing to risk everything to protect her children. While visuals are under wraps, insiders suggest it could be one of her most memorable performances.
Vikram on Duty
Starring Bigg Boss Telugu winner Nikhil Maliyakkal, Vikram on Duty follows a principled police officer tasked with a challenging case at the very start of his career. The series promises a gripping mix of crime and moral dilemmas.
Batchmates
Rounding off the slate is Batchmates, a nostalgic, youthful series set in a college backdrop. Focused on friendships, first love, and coming-of-age moments, it features a fresh cast and delivers relatable charm for younger audiences.
With a mix of beloved franchises and fresh narratives, JioHotstar’s 2026 Telugu slate is shaping up to be a must-watch. Fans can expect high production quality, engaging storytelling, and performances that resonate across audiences.
