The thirty ninth Golden Disc Awards kicked off final night time!
On January 4, the Golden Disc Awards held the primary night time of its ceremony at Fukuoka’s PayPay Dome in Japan. Though the awards have been initially scheduled to air dwell, the dwell broadcasts have been cancelled within the wake of the tragic Jeju Air Airplane Crash. Day 1 will now air on January 6 at midnight KST, whereas Day 2 (which will probably be pre-recorded on January 5) will air on January 7 at 1:20 a.m. KST.
Day 1 of the Golden Disc Awards honored the most important digital music releases of 2024, whereas Day 2 will honor achievements in bodily album releases.
aespa received this 12 months’s Daesang (Grand Prize) for Digital Track of the Yr with their smash hit “Supernova,” marking their first time profitable a Daesang on the Golden Disc Awards.
Songs launched between early November 2023 and early November 2024 have been eligible for this 12 months’s awards.
