‘ILLEGAL’ – TEASER OF VOOT SELECT’S NEW SERIES

Close on the heals of success of The Raiker Case, Voot Select is gearing up to present its next Original series which is titled Illegal. First look of the series is released recently of the new show on all its social media handles. Though it is slated for release in April, Illegal is going to hit the screens in May. Meanwhile, the teaser raised more expectations making the wait feel like a bit longer..
Though the conflict in legal system is apparent and not a new phenomenon on our big or small screens, Illegal looks promising if the contents of the teaser are an indication. Obviously, this is going to be another compelling courtroom drama that implores the limitations of our judiciary system and course of law that prevails in most of the cases with many loopholes, manipulations untangled by crafty lawyers to twist law according to their whims and fancies.
Some noted names, Piyush Mishra, Neha Sharma, Parul Gulati, Satyadeep Mishra and Akshay Oberoi play the roles advocates in the series.  Kubbra Sait plays the character of a girl who get locked behind bars for an undisclosed offence. Taher Shabbir Mithaiwala, Deepak Tijori, Aditi Tailang and Vicky Arora also play important roles Illegal.
Illegal is written by Reshu Nath and directed by Sahir Raza with Samar Khan producing the series under the banner of Irada Entertainment. Renowned cinematographer Sameer Arya handles the camera for this courtroom drama while Vikram Bhatt is the creative producer.
The official tagline-

‘Illegal’ reads — “Two high profile cases, a battery of high-power legal eagles & the number one law firm of the country. A first of its kind intense, a racy legal drama that questions whether all lawyers are mercenaries or can some resist the lure of greed, ambition and power; and fight to win defining judgments that hold the bar of justice high and restore faith in humanity?” sums up the power packed theme of this interesting series.
