From March 9-15, 2026, streaming platforms like Netflix, JioHotstar, and ZEE5 will release a hugely diverse lineup. Highlights include the highly anticipated Zootopia 2, a Harry Styles music special, and Aspirants S3. Viewers can also look forward to new seasons of One Piece and Virgin River. The week offers a wide array of content, from global hits and regional dramas to experimental reality TV and social thrillers across various languages, ensuring engaging and genuine storytelling for every taste.

Laugh Your Way Through Rooster (JioHotstar, March 9)

From the creators of Ted Lasso and Shrinking comes Rooster, a sharp single-camera comedy starring Steve Carell as Greg Russo, a best-selling thriller author turned reluctant writer-in-residence. When a fiery mishap traps him at Ludlow College, he’s forced to navigate campus politics, reconnect with his daughter, and survive academic chaos—led by John C. McGinley’s hilariously corrupt college president.

Adventure Awaits in One Piece Season 2 (Netflix, March 10)

Luffy and the Straw Hat crew set sail into the Grand Line in One Piece: Into the Grand Line. This season covers five iconic arcs—Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whisky Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island—introducing Tony Tony Chopper and confronting foes like Wapol and Baroque Works. A must-watch for anime fans.

Power, Politics & Mentorship in Sankalp (Amazon MX Player, March 11)

Prakash Jha’s gripping political drama Sankalp marks Nana Patekar’s OTT debut as Ma’at Saab, a shadowy mentor manipulating India’s elite. When his protégé (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub) questions his methods, a fierce ideological battle erupts—exploring loyalty, power, and moral compromise.

Love, Identity & Courage in Made In Korea (Netflix, March 12)

Priyanka Arul Mohan shines in this touching cross-cultural tale of Shenba, a Tamil woman stranded in Seoul who transforms from vulnerability to strength. With a soulful score blending Indian and Korean sounds, Made In Korea is a poignant journey of self-discovery.

The IAS Dream Continues in Aspirants Season 3 (Prime Video, March 13)

Back with a dual timeline, Aspirants Season 3 follows Abhilash’s political downfall and final IAS attempt. With new rivalries and strained friendships, the series dives deep into duty, ethics, and personal cost.

Blind Dates, Big Emotions in Andha Pyaar 2.0 (ZEE5, March 14)

Hosted by comedians Vivek Samtani and Kaustubh Agarwal, this Gen-Z-focused reality show strips away looks—literally. With blindfolded dating and witty commentary from comedians like Nishant Tanwar, it’s a bold critique of swipe culture.

Family, Feuds & Second Chances in The Family McMullen (JioHotstar, March 15)

Edward Burns returns in this heartfelt sequel, exploring family chaos, love, and redemption as the McMullens reunite in Brooklyn. A nostalgic yet timely look at modern relationships.

Other Releases:

Starting March 9, JioHotstar introduces The Society Season 2, a psychological reality competition where players navigate a brutal three-tier hierarchy, reflecting themes of capitalism and power. On March 12, Netflix releases Virgin River Season 7, continuing Mel and Jack’s journey into parenthood amid mysterious town events, including Charmaine’s disappearance, and Doc Mullins’ fight to protect his clinic.
