Fans can finally answer the question posed by one of its tracks: Harry Styles’ fourth studio album, “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally,” is officially here. The long-awaited record arrives four years after his chart-dominating previous release, “Harry’s House,” inviting listeners into a new chapter of his musical evolution.
Exploring the “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally” Tracklist and Sound
The new LP is a 12-song journey that opens with the vibrant lead single, “Aperture,” and concludes with the poignant “Carla’s Song.” The collection includes previously teased tracks like “Are You Listening Yet?,” “Coming Up Roses,” and “Dance No More,” showcasing a range of styles from disco-infused anthems to introspective ballads. True to its title, the album encourages a spirit of joy and spontaneity, a theme Styles has playfully championed in the lead-up to its release.
A Continued Creative Partnership and Global Tour Plans
For “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally,” Styles once again joined forces with his longtime collaborator and producer, Kid Harpoon, maintaining the creative synergy that defined his prior three albums. The album announcement at the start of the year was quickly followed by reveals of the massive, record-breaking Together Together Tour. The global trek begins on May 16 in Amsterdam and includes a staggering 30-date residency at New York’s famed Madison Square Garden, alongside other international residencies.
Celebrating the Release: Netflix Stream and Saturday Night Live
To mark the album’s arrival, Styles is treating fans to a special release day concert at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester, England. The entire performance will be streamed globally on Netflix this Sunday at 3 p.m. Eastern Time, allowing fans worldwide to participate in the celebration. Furthermore, Styles is set to return to Studio 8H on March 14 for his second time as both host and musical guest on “Saturday Night Live,” a dual role he hasn’t taken on since 2019.
The Marathon of Creation: Styles’ Personal Journey
In a unique preview of the album’s themes, Styles recently graced the cover of Runner’s World for an insightful conversation with legendary Japanese author Haruki Murakami. The pair bonded over a shared passion for long-distance running, with Styles drawing powerful parallels between the discipline of marathon training and the creative process behind his new music.
He explained, “The thing that I’ve found… is the idea of trusting myself to do exactly what I say I’m going to do. To say to myself, I know that you can do something difficult… Having that kind of self-integrity — no one can run a marathon for you. Whereas there are a lot of people who help me make music… But running is a conversation with myself.”
This introspective journey culminates in “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally,” an album that promises to be both a communal celebration and a deeply personal statement from one of music’s biggest stars.
