The Boys Season 5 Trailer Could Arrive in December at CCXP

Fans of The Boys may not have to wait much longer for a first look at the upcoming fifth and final season. Amazon Prime Video is set to host a major panel at CCXP in São Paulo, Brazil, where all signs point toward the debut of the The Boys Season 5 trailer.

This event, scheduled for Saturday, December 6 at 8 p.m. BRT (6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT), is expected to mark the official start of the promotional campaign for the highly anticipated finale. With filming completed back in July, the timing lines up perfectly for the show’s marketing push.

Why CCXP Could Be the Big Reveal

Historically, CCXP has been a prime venue for The Boys announcements. In December 2023, Amazon unveiled the first trailer for Season 4 at the convention, months ahead of its June 2024 premiere. Similarly, it’s likely fans will witness the first footage from Season 5 during this year’s panel—though, as in the past, a firm release date may not be confirmed until early 2025.

Given that Gen V Season 2 has just wrapped, the spotlight now shifts entirely to The Boys finale, which is slated for a 2026 launch. The series has traditionally premiered in summer, most often in June, so viewers can reasonably expect a similar timeframe for Season 5.

Eric Kripke and Cast to Attend

Showrunner Eric Kripke will join the main cast at the December CCXP panel, making it a prime opportunity for franchise updates. Kripke may also share news about ongoing and upcoming spin-offs, including Gen V, Vought Rising, and the recently announced The Boys: Mexico.

While Gen V was renewed swiftly after its first season, the fate of its third installment depends on audience numbers, leaving room for possible updates during the panel. Vought Rising, which began filming in August and will continue through the end of 2025, could also get fresh behind-the-scenes glimpses at the event.

Spin-Offs and The Boys: Mexico

The Brazil setting for CCXP adds extra intrigue, as Amazon is developing a Latin American spin-off based in Mexico. However, Kripke revealed that the pilot script is still being written, indicating that substantive updates may be limited for now.

Final Thoughts

With The Boys set to conclude its high-octane, satirical superhero saga in Season 5, anticipation is at an all-time high. CCXP’s December panel looks poised to deliver the first official trailer, kickstarting the countdown to a summer 2026 premiere. Fans should keep a close eye on the event for trailers, cast insights, and franchise-wide updates.
