Get ready, K-drama fans! The much-anticipated romance series Shining (working title) is set to make its debut on March 6 at 8:50 p.m. KST. JTBC has just unveiled a captivating poster featuring GOT7’s Park Jinyoung alongside the talented Kim Min Ju, creating high expectations for the series.

Shining tells the heartfelt story of young individuals who once shared a unique bond, eventually transforming into each other’s pillars of support and beacons of hope. This emotionally charged drama is helmed by director Kim Yoon Jin, known for her work on Our Beloved Summer, and penned by Lee Sook Yeon, the writer behind A Piece of Your Mind.

In the series, Park Jinyoung takes on the role of Yeon Tae Seo, a pragmatic train conductor with a clear perspective on life. After finally obtaining the independence he long desired and settling comfortably into his daily routine, he unexpectedly crosses paths again with Mo Eun Ah, his first love from his teenage years.

Kim Min Ju portrays Mo Eun Ah, a character who embodies enthusiasm, emotional richness, and undeniable charm. Once a hotel manager, she now oversees a traditional-style inn in Seoul, revealing her journey and growth since her youth.

The recently released poster beautifully captures the youthful dynamic between Yeon Tae Seo and Mo Eun Ah. In this enchanting image, the pair sits back-to-back, framed by warm summer light and surrounded by vibrant greenery. With their school bags momentarily discarded, they gaze at the serene neighborhood scenery, evoking the sweet nostalgia of their nineteen-year-old selves.

In the poster, Yeon Tae Seo appears contemplative, while Mo Eun Ah looks outward, suggesting their contrasting personalities may play a significant role in the narrative. Accompanying the visual is the poignant tagline “We were special,” subtly hinting at their destined connection and raising questions about the development of their relationship. Fans are eager to witness how Yeon Tae Seo and Mo Eun Ah will navigate their shared past and create a new future together.

Viewers are not only excited for the storyline of Shining but are also keen to see the chemistry between Park Jinyoung and Kim Min Ju. The anticipation for this drama is palpable, and it seems poised to capture the hearts of audiences.

Mark your calendars for March 6 to experience the magic of Shining and join Yeon Tae Seo and Mo Eun Ah on what promises to be a captivating romantic journey!

Shining is also likely to stream on Netflix for rest of the world viewers including India.
