RIIZE has returned with their highly anticipated second mini album “II,” released through SM Entertainment and RCA Records. The six-track collection is led by the dynamic title track “Do Your Dance,” a high-energy dance anthem that encourages fans to embrace confidence and trust their instincts.
The new album represents a significant milestone in RIIZE’s musical journey, expanding on their core “Rise & Realize” philosophy with the concept of “Rise to Realize”—a message about self-discovery through action, growth, and meaningful experiences. This thematic development shows the group’s commitment to artistic evolution while maintaining their signature performance-driven identity.
At the core of “II” lies “Do Your Dance,” a vibrant track built on themes of confidence, freedom, and following one’s natural instincts. The song features infectious hooks and performance-focused production designed to get listeners moving. The memorable refrain “Head, hips, shoulders, toes” has already become a fan favorite, paired with dynamic choreography that showcases RIIZE’s exceptional performance abilities. The track encourages listeners to release perfectionism and simply enjoy the moment.
The official music video for “Do Your Dance” highlights RIIZE’s performance strengths prominently. Directed by longtime collaborator Jinuya, who has previously directed visuals for tracks like “Siren,” “Memories,” “Get A Guitar,” and “Impossible,” the video combines fluid camerawork with a one-take-inspired approach. This creative technique effectively captures the group’s sharp choreography and charismatic stage presence.
Beyond the title track, “II” demonstrates RIIZE’s expanding musical versatility. Opening track “SOAR” incorporates alternative rock influences, while “D-D-Done” brings breezy bass house energy. “Overdrive” explores R&B and hip-hop textures through heavy bass and beat switches, and “Like a Bomb” delivers a funk-driven groove. The mini album concludes with “In a Loop,” a bright and uplifting pop track that leaves listeners feeling hopeful.
This release builds on the tremendous success of RIIZE’s debut full-length album “ODYSSEY,” which became their third consecutive million-selling project, alongside their single “Fame.” Earlier this year, the six-member group further expanded their global reach by becoming the first K-pop boy group to perform at Lollapalooza festivals across Latin America.
Comprised of SHOTARO, EUNSEOK, SUNGCHAN, WONBIN, SOHEE, and ANTON, RIIZE debuted in September 2023 with “Get A Guitar” and has rapidly established themselves as one of K-pop’s most promising rising acts. With “II,” the group delivers a carefree, confident spirit perfectly tailored for the summer season while continuing to push their performance-driven identity forward.
