Close on the heels of Class of 83 which is to premiere on Aug 21, another Bobby Deol starrer Ashram which is his debut web series is slated to release on Aug 28. The trailer of Ashram depicts the life of Baba Nirala of Kashipur who is having followers all over the country and many of them thronging his Ashram to get blessings of the Baba who is the harbinger of peace as proclaimed by him.
This web series bankrolled by Prakash Jha under PJP Productions is to premiere on Aug 28, 2020 on MXPlayer digital platform. Apart from Bobby, Darshan Kumar, Tanmay Ranjan, Adhyayan Suman, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Aaditi Pohankar, Anupriya Goenka, Tridha Choudhury, Vikram Kochchar, Tushar Pandey, Sachin Shroff, Anurutta Jha and Rajeev Siddhartha are going to appear in pivotal roles.

The trailer released is significant in the sense that it is supposed to be based on the story of controversial Godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh who ran a parallel Government by wielding immense power and influence. It is to be seen how Ashram unveils the truth behind the Godman and his deeds which makes an interesting watch as reality gets unfolded blow by blow on Aug 28.
