The transition from April to May 2026 brings an exhilarating wave of television content for Korean drama enthusiasts. With 16 diverse titles hitting major streaming platforms like Netflix, Disney+, and Viki, the upcoming week promises everything from high-stakes criminal investigations to heartwarming family sagas.

This week is particularly significant as it marks the return of Hallyu favorite Park Bo Young and features the highly anticipated conclusion of Yoo Yeon Seok’s supernatural legal hit. Below is your comprehensive guide to the must-watch releases between April 27 and May 3.

The Most Anticipated Premiere: Gold Land

Leading the new entries is Gold Land, premiering April 29 on Disney+. This crime thriller stars Park Bo Young as a security screening officer at an international airport. Her mundane life is turned upside down when she discovers gold bars valued at ₩150 billion. However, the fortune comes with a price, as she unknowingly becomes a target for a dangerous illegal smuggling syndicate.

Returning Favorites and Buzzworthy Collaboration

Drama fans are also keeping a close eye on Perfect Crown (Disney+), which highlights the first-ever on-screen pairing of IU and Byeon Woo Seok. The series continues its run with episodes 7 and 8 on May 1 and 2, also featuring Noh Sang Hyun and Gong Seung Yeon.
