‘The Witcher Season 2’ to resume production

Its finally back! To the rejoice of all fans world over, Netflix announced resumption of production of its most acclaimed TV shows Witcher Season 2. The shooting of this huge hit series has come to a standstill after one of its actors Kristofer Hivju of Game of Thrones fame was tested positive for Corona virus.

Now with lockdown lifted and life is being restored to normalcy in UK, Netflix is all set to restart the production of The Witcher Season 2 starring Henry Cavill while following all the precautions and taking sufficient safety measures on sets by maintaining social distance and by making temperature tests mandatory for everyone on sets.

Arborfield Studios in UK which is the main production hub is going to be ready in next few weeks as conveyed by its Managing Director Bob Terry who is in the process of holding various meetings to finalize the safety procedures.

Post criticism from fans, the showrunner of this hit fantasy series, Lauren Schmidt has declared that the new season will introduce a big time line change which is really going to appease many fans driving them to look forward to more excitement.

The Witcher is based on material written by Andrzej  Sapkowski following a monster hunter in a world known as The Continent. If everything goes as per schedule, The Witcher Season 2 is going to be released by Netfiix in July or August 2021.
