Actor Neil Bhoopalam, who is presently portraying the intricate character of Rajat, a businessperson, in Pyaar Paisa Profit, has shared insights into what makes this role distinct and expressed that playing it has been an exhilarating experience.

“Rajat operates a high-pressure finance firm called Fusion Funds, which is quite different from my own reality. However, the intensity, high stakes, and relationships are aspects I can relate to,” Neil remarked.

He acknowledged that stepping into Rajat’s role marked a significant shift from his everyday life.

“I’m not accustomed to that level of ruthlessness, particularly in the business sphere. But embodying him? That was incredibly enjoyable,” he noted.

Neil discovered that Rajat’s office is actually the genuine workspace of the producers, Yash and Mamta Patnaik of Inspire Films.

“The office you see on screen truly belongs to Yash and Mamta! Sitting in their chairs and working in that environment infused a unique energy,” he explained.

The filming process coincided with a deeply emotional period for Neil, following the death of his father, B.K. Chandramohan.

“He encouraged me not to alter my schedule, and I honored that. It felt like he was with me throughout the entire experience. I am immensely grateful to director Prashant Singh and the production team for their support during this time,” he shared.

Neil believes that the upcoming series resonates with many young professionals.

“Most of us are first-generation participants in our respective fields without any established templates. We are navigating the balance between ambition, relationships, and family in real-time,” he asserted.

When discussing the advice his character Rajat might offer, Neil said: “He would likely suggest, ‘Love money.’ But I beg to differ,” he admitted. “I think both love and money require nurturing—just like plants. If you neglect either, they will fade. I wish everyone gets the chance to work on a film set at least once; it’s one of the most vibrant places on Earth.”

Pyaar Paisa Profit now streaming on Amazon MX Player follows the journey of Abhijeet, Saurabh, Shruti, and Garima, who aspire to achieve high-paying positions but encounter overbearing bosses, romantic troubles, and company layoffs. As the financial force that initially bound their friendship begins to pull them apart, their connections start to unravel.
