Mithra Mandali, an eccentric and entertaining film, features Priyadarshi, Rag Mayur, Vishnu Oi, and Prasad Behara in leading roles, with Niharika NM playing a significant part. The first teaser, filled with humor, was revealed today during an event in Hyderabad.
Producer Allu Aravind shared, “I’m surrounded by young talent at Geetha Arts, and this keeps my tastes fresh. After watching a web series, I realized Priyadarshi would have a long-lasting career. I was impressed with his performance in the recent film, Court. I follow Niharika NM on Instagram through a fake account (laughs). When her profile came to our attention, I chose her for Mithra Mandali. If the film proves to be as amusing as the teaser, I’m certain it will be a success.”
Producer Bunny Vas mentioned that his desire to create a buddy comedy like Mithra Mandali was inspired by Jathi Ratnalu. “The scenes featuring Vennela Kishore and Satya will be a standout. We will finalize a release date soon. SKN and I have spent more time with Allu Aravind than with our own families. He is like a Godfather to us, teaching us everything, especially discipline,” said the Thandel producer.
Producer SKN expressed that AAA Cinemas has been his lucky charm. “We launched the trailer for the blockbuster Baby, produced under my banner, here. Allu Aravind treats Bunny Vas and me like his sons, and we are all united. Just like five fingers appear separate, they unite to form a fist. Those guided by Allu Aravind share this bond. Mithra Mandali will be a hilarious film similar to Jathi Ratnalu, MAD, Single, and AAY,” he explained.
Actor Priyadarshi commented, “The script of this film is so engaging that it attracted four producers to back it. Allu Aravind is a great inspiration and has mentored young producers at his production house. I’m grateful to SKN, Bunny Vas, and everyone involved. I also welcome Niharika to Telugu cinema. Working with Rag Mayur, Vishnu, and Prasad was delightful. Director Vijayender has a strong comedic talent, and the upcoming trailer will be even funnier.“
Director Vijayender stated, “I’m primarily responsible for the humor in this film (laughs). Working with these talented artists has been a blast. Dhruvan’s music is fantastic. I extend special thanks to SKN sir, as I’ve received immense support from my friends like 90s star Aditya Hasan, Anudeep from Jathi Ratnalu, and Kalyan Shankar from MAD.”
Niharika, a well-known digital content creator, shared that she was selected because the director wanted someone unconventional. “I’m really excited and want to thank my producers,” she added.
Mithra Mandali is co-produced by Somaraju Penmetsa. The project features RR Dhruvan (music), Siddharth SJ (cinematography), Peekay (editing), Shilpa Tangturu (costume design), and Gandhi Nadikudikar (art direction). Producer Bunny Vas has established BV Works for the film, collaborating with Sapta Aswa Creatives and Vyra Entertainments.
