‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in a new avatar as Master Chef in the upcoming Tamil version of the popular Master Chef series on Sun TV. He will be the cooking host for this show which will go on air very soon.
Vijay Sethupathi has become one of the most sought after actors in Kollywood as well as in Tollywood. His recent successes, Master and Uppena have opened more doors for him in Tollywood and many of his movies are being dubbed and released in Telugu due to the craze he is having in both the Telugu States.
Now, the Master Chef is another show which will enable him reach every nook and corner of not only in Tamil Nadu but all over the world. His popularity is going to get another shot in the arm with this show which will be on the lines of world famous cookery show Master Chef.
Vijay Sethupathi who must have charged a bomb for doing this show is having almost 15 films and 2 web series in his hand which denote his immense popularity across the country.
Significant among them are Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal directed by Vignesh Shivan with Nayanthara and Samantha Akkineni, Vetri Maaran’s Viduthalai, Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram and a web series Navarasa being created by Mani Ratnam along with a Raj & DK’s untitled series co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Rashi Khanna. Vijay Sethupathi is also acting in a Bollywood flick with Katrina Kaif directed by Sriram Raghavan of Andhadhun fame which is already on the sets.
