A household thrown into chaos, a mysterious corpse, and one mother desperately trying to keep her family from unraveling—this is the premise of Netflix’s newest original film that promises audiences a wild blend of laughter and suspense. Streaming exclusively on Netflix starting June 4, this rooted crime-comedy brings together an ensemble cast led by legendary actress Madhuri Dixit in a role audiences have never seen her play before.
A Family Caught in the Worst Possible Situation
The story centers on Rekha, a mother who already has her hands full managing household responsibilities and navigating life’s everyday challenges. Her world turns upside down when an unexpected discovery throws her into crisis mode—a dead body mysteriously appearing in her kitchen. With no clear explanation for how this happened or what to do next, Rekha must rely on the one people who should make any situation easier to handle: her two daughters.
Jaya, the eldest, carries the weight of responsibility on her shoulders and approaches every problem with logic and caution. Meanwhile, Sushma, the younger sibling, proves to be the unpredictable wild card who approaches chaos with reckless abandon. Together, this dysfunctional trio must devise a plan to dispose of the evidence, craft convincing lies, and prevent their curious neighbors from sniffing out the truth before it’s too late. As secrets spiral out of control and complications mount at every turn, audiences will witness a perfectly crafted balance of suspense and side-splitting comedy that keeps viewers guessing what happens next.
