After a 14-year break, the Telangana government has brought back the State Film Awards, now called the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards to commemorate the iconic revolutionary poet Gaddar. The winners were announced today, with the awards ceremony planned for June 14, 2025, in Hyderabad. Celebrated actress Jayasudha headed the 15-member jury, which carefully assessed 1,248 submissions across categories like feature films, documentaries, children’s films, and technical achievements.
