DocuBay Unveils Trailer for Operation Maa, A Powerful Documentary Premiering August 27, 2025.

Ahead of India’s 78th Independence Day, DocuBay has released the trailer for its upcoming original documentary, Operation Maa, set to premiere on August 27, 2025. The film sheds light on a groundbreaking initiative in Jammu & Kashmir, where militants are encouraged to lay down their arms and reunite with their families—driven by the unwavering bond between a mother and child.

Through raw, real-life testimonies, Operation Maa chronicles the transformative journeys of former militants given a second chance, alongside the remarkable people who made their reintegration possible.

Aditya Pittie, Managing Director of IN10 Media Network, shared, “Stories like Operation Maa redefine freedom—it’s not just political but emotional liberation and redemption. This documentary embodies unity, compassion, and hope, core values of our Independence. We’re confident the trailer will strike a chord with audiences worldwide.”

Samar Khan, DocuBay’s Chief Content Officer, added, “The trailer barely scratches the surface of Operation Maa’s emotional depth. It’s a raw, hopeful portrait of humanity in unexpected places—a story deeply rooted in Kashmir and India’s collective conscience.”

Lt. Gen. K.J.S. Dhillon (Retd.), who spearheaded the initiative, reflected, “‘Operation Maa was born from one mission: bringing our sons back to their mothers. No force rivals a mother’s love, and this film captures that truth. Kashmir is India’s heart, and every lost soul deserves a homecoming. May this story ignite more reconciliations.”
