According to an official announcement from the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education on September 25, Jimin had expressed his intent to donate months earlier. The donation process was coordinated through his father, who personally reached out to the office in July before ensuring the funds were transferred to the Love Scholarship Foundation. This thoughtful contribution will be used to support students from elementary, middle, high, and special schools across North Jeolla Province.
The scholarships are designed not only for children excelling academically but also for those from underprivileged backgrounds.
