Ariana Grande has finally confirmed what fans have been waiting for — the full tracklist for her upcoming album “Petal”. The pop icon announced that the highly-anticipated record will drop on July 31, serving as the successor to her 2024 release “Eternal Sunshine”.
During a recent performance at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California on June 19, Grande revealed the complete song list to her audience. Following the show, she shared the exciting news with her followers through an Instagram reel, showcasing all twelve track titles for the world to see.
The eighth studio album from the Grammy-winning artist was first announced back in April, with Grande describing the project as being “full of life” and “growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging.” The album marks her return to the music scene after the successful “Eternal Sunshine” era and its deluxe version “Brighter Days Ahead”.
Fans will recognize the lead single “Hate that I made you love me,” which has already been released and garnered significant attention from critics and listeners alike. The upcoming record will be available in multiple digital and physical formats to accommodate various preferences among her global audience.
Since the album announcement, Grande has been touring extensively with her “Eternal Sunshine” tour, which kicked off in Oakland, California earlier this month. Throughout the tour, she has been dropping subtle hints about the tracklist, building anticipation among the fan community. The residency element of her promotional schedule includes a 10-night stint at The O2 in London scheduled for August and September.
The album arrives after Grande reassured her fanbase last year that she was not “abandoning” music, despite her increased focus on acting projects. The singer is currently preparing to appear in the comedy sequel Focker-In-Law alongside established stars Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro. Additionally, she is set to make her way to London’s West End in summer 2027 to star in Sunday In The Park With George opposite Jonathan Bailey. Her acting credentials also include her memorable portrayal of Glenna in Wicked and its follow-up Wicked: For Good.
In other news, Grande recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of her third studio album “Dangerous Woman” by releasing the fan-favorite track “Knew Better Part II”. She has also launched a foundation dedicated to supporting the LGBTQ+ community and has publicly criticized the White House for using her music in a recent ICE video without authorization.
