Indian actress, influencer, and now singer, Anushka Sen has added another feather to her creative cap with the launch of her debut single Chameleon. In a moment she describes as a “dream come true,” the track was recently showcased on a prominent billboard in the heart of New York City’s Times Square — one of the world’s most iconic locations for global music and entertainment promotions.

Sharing her excitement with fans, Anushka posted a video on Instagram capturing the vibrant Chameleon visuals lighting up the bustling square. In her post, she expressed how surreal it was to stand in the crowd and witness her work displayed on such a grand stage, calling it “unbelievable” and thanking her followers for their unwavering support.

Chameleon marks a significant artistic leap for Anushka as it is her first professional collaboration with Grammy-winning American music producer Ken Lewis, whose impressive portfolio includes working with global superstars such as Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, and Kanye West. The project allowed Anushka to explore a new dimension of her talent and step into the world of music with an international touch.

Reflecting on her journey, Anushka revealed that music has always been part of her life, though she never imagined she would one day record and release her own song. She explained that Chameleon emerged during a period of personal growth and introspection — a time when she was rethinking her identity and future path. The track embodies transformation, embracing change even when it feels daunting, and breaking free from expectations that she remain in one fixed role.

The single was recorded during a recent trip to the United States, where Anushka immersed herself in the creative process. She shared that the dream of making music stems from her childhood, crediting her mother as her earliest mentor who nurtured her love for singing. This familial influence, combined with years of performing arts experience, culminated in the creation of Chameleon, a song that represents both her past and her evolving artistic future.

For fans eager to hear Anushka’s musical debut, Chameleon is now available across major streaming platforms worldwide. With its blend of personal storytelling and polished production, the song is quickly gaining attention not just in India but internationally — a promising start to her career as a recording artist.
