Release Date Announcement: March 26

Netflix is set to unveil its latest psychological horror series, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, on March 26. This gripping show centers around the character Rachel and her fiancé, Nicky, who venture to Nicky’s family’s isolated estate in the days leading up to their nuptials.

A Joyous Occasion Turns Dark

What starts as an exciting pre-wedding celebration soon transforms into an unsettling experience. Strange occurrences and mounting anxiety lead Rachel to question the nature of reality and her perceptions. The series intricately weaves character-driven suspense with themes of trust, commitment, and an underlying dread that something catastrophic looms on the horizon.

First Look Sparks Excitement

The initial teaser released by Netflix has ignited a wave of excitement among fans. In the sneak peek, viewers are introduced to actress Camila Morrone, who portrays Rachel. A striking image shows her in a moment of horror, with her hand covering her face, perfectly capturing the show’s eerie atmosphere.

Complete Viewing Experience on Launch Day

All eight episodes of Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen will be available for streaming from the premiere date, March 26. The series promises not only a deep psychological dive but also an exploration of familial dynamics as Rachel confronts the unsettling nature of Nicky’s secretive family environment.

Building Tension as the Big Day Approaches

As the wedding date draws closer, unsettling and minor occurrences escalate, heightening the overall sense of dread. The show brilliantly blurs the lines between psychological tension and impending horror, skillfully transforming the wedding countdown into a foreboding lead-up to an unforeseen disaster.

Star-Studded Cast

Camila Morrone, known for her roles in Daisy Jones & The Six and The Night Manager 2, stars alongside Adam DiMarco (The White Lotus). The series also features a talented ensemble cast that includes Jennifer Jason Leigh (Fargo, Annihilation), Ted Levine (Monk), Gus Birney (Shining Vale), Jeff Wilbusch (Unorthodox), and Karla Crome (The Last Disturbance of Madeline Hynde).

Behind the Scenes

Haley Z Boston takes the reins as showrunner and executive producer, promising a series that not only captivates but also resonates with viewers on multiple levels.
