Disney Branded Television has announced a must-see 20th-anniversary celebration, set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ on March 24. This highly anticipated special promises a heartfelt and nostalgic journey back to Malibu, honoring the series that reshaped youth culture and launched a superstar.
An Intimate Conversation with Miley Cyrus
Filmed before a live studio audience, the special event will be centered around an exclusive, in-depth interview with Miley Cyrus, hosted by chart-topping podcast sensation Alex Cooper. This conversation will offer a rare, intimate perspective on the creation of one of pop culture’s most iconic dual roles. Cyrus is set to revisit the music, moments, and memories that defined an era, sharing fresh reflections on the show’s enduring legacy and its profound impact on her life and the lives of millions of fans worldwide.
Step Back Onto the Set
Beyond the interview, viewers will be treated to a wave of nostalgia as the anniversary special brings some of the show’s most beloved sets back to life. Fans can expect to once again see the Stewart family living room and, of course, the legendary revolving closet that served as the gateway between Miley Stewart and her rockstar alter ego. The special will also feature never-before-seen archival footage, offering a brand-new glimpse behind the scenes of the global phenomenon.

Then, starting February 19, a dedicated non-stop Stream will launch, featuring all four seasons of the original series, Hannah Montana: The Movie, and Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: The Best of Both Worlds Concert.
