Get ready for an enthralling new series as That Night, a highly anticipated drama created by Jason George, is set to premiere on Netflix on March 13. Produced by Txintxua Films and directed by the talented Jorge Dorado and Liliana Torres, this gripping show stars Clara Galle, Claudia Salas, and Paula Usero, who bring to life a story steeped in moral dilemmas and family loyalty.

Netflix has unveiled the release date, along with captivating first-look images and an enticing poster for That Night. The series showcases the talents of Clara Galle, recognized for her roles in Raising Voices and Olympo, Claudia Salas, known for her performances in Rage, La ruta, and Elite, and Paula Usero, who was nominated for a Goya Award for her role in Rosa’s Wedding and is also seen in The Cook of Castamar and Las abogadas.

That Night draws inspiration from the acclaimed novel by British author Gillian McAllister and is co-written by Jason George, who has an impressive portfolio that includes Narcos and Into the Night. He collaborates with Lara Sendim, whose credits include The Last Night at Tremore Beach and films directed by Oriol Paulo, such as Los renglones torcidos de Dios and The Body. The series is helmed by Jorge Dorado, a Goya nominee recognized for Mindscape, and Liliana Torres, known for directing films like Mamífera, What Went Wrong?, and Family Tour.

The narrative of That Night revolves around Elena, portrayed by Clara Galle, who faces an unimaginable crisis during a family vacation in the Dominican Republic. After accidentally hitting a man with her car, Elena is thrown into a state of panic and desperation. She calls upon her sisters, Paula (Claudia Salas) and Cris (Paula Usero), to assist her. Together, the three sisters grapple with the aftermath of the accident and the dreadful thought of their youngest sister facing imprisonment, leaving their only niece without a mother. The series poses a poignant question: how far will one go to safeguard their family? This compelling storyline delves into themes of love, loyalty, and the moral boundaries one might cross for those they hold dear.

The supporting cast includes Nül García, Gabriel Polanco, Alicia Falcó, Luis del Valle, and Ignacio Visca, adding depth and complexity to the story.

Produced by Marian Fernández Pascal for Txintxua Films, the same company behind other notable Netflix titles including Intimacy and Koldo Almandoz’s Mouths of Sand and Mouths of Sky, That Night promises to be a significant addition to the streaming platform’s lineup.

As the premiere date approaches, anticipation builds for this compelling drama that explores the intricate dynamics of family and the tough choices we sometimes must make. Fans of gripping narratives and emotional storytelling will not want to miss That Night.
