Global K-pop sensation BTS has officially unveiled the title of their much-anticipated fifth studio album, Arirang, signaling their grand return as a complete seven-member group after fulfilling their mandatory military service. This marks the first OT7 project in nearly four years, and fans worldwide are buzzing with excitement.

The announcement came on January 15 via BTS’s official social media channels, accompanied by a touching audio message from all seven members — Jin, J-Hope, Suga, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. The group opened the clip with their iconic introduction, “We are BTS,” before leader RM shared, “We are so excited to share our new album Arirang,” with the rest of the members chiming in to ask for ARMY’s love and support.

Adding to the excitement, BTS revealed that pre-orders for Arirang would begin on January 16. The album will be available in multiple collectible formats, including:

  • Rooted in Korea version
  • Rooted in Music version
  • Living Legend version
  • Weverse Album version
  • 7-Member Standard Vinyl edition

Arirang will feature a total of 14 tracks, each infused with the members’ personal experiences, emotions, and creative input. According to BTS, the album reflects their journey as individuals and as a unit, blending heartfelt storytelling with diverse musical influences.

This comeback holds special significance for both BTS and ARMY, as it marks the end of a long hiatus following the group’s enlistment. The release date is set for March 20, 2026, with a massive world tour to follow. The Arirang World Tour kicks off on April 9, 2026, in Goyang, South Korea, and will span 34 venues and 79 shows across five continents — a testament to BTS’s unparalleled global reach.

Fans have already begun speculating about the themes and concepts behind Arirang, which is named after a traditional Korean folk song often associated with unity, longing, and resilience. Many see the title as a symbolic nod to BTS’s roots and their enduring bond with fans.

With the countdown officially underway, Arirang promises to be more than just another album — it’s a milestone in BTS’s career and a celebration of their return to the stage as one united force. ARMYs everywhere are ready to embrace this new chapter, making March 20 one of the most anticipated dates in K-pop history.
