The Arrival of Touch Me
The official trailer and poster for Touch Me, directed by Addison Heimann, have officially been released. This erotic horror comedy is set to make its debut in New York City on March 20, 2026, followed by a limited theatrical release on March 27, 2026. For those unable to catch it in theaters, it will be available for On Demand and Digital streaming starting April 2, 2026.
A Whimsical and Sensual Adventure
Touch Me presents a quirky and risqué tribute to Japanese exploitation cinema. The film follows two millennials, Joey and Craig, whose lives revolve around avoiding responsibilities. Both characters grapple with significant childhood trauma, but they believe that’s just a part of life, encouraging viewers to judge them as they see fit. One fateful day, Joey’s alluring alien ex-boyfriend, Brian, returns, seeking forgiveness and inviting her to his lavish desert mansion for a weekend getaway. With Craig’s home dealing with an unfortunate sewer incident, they reluctantly agree.
What adds an intriguing twist to their decision is Brian’s peculiar, tentacle-like appendage that claims to alleviate anxiety and depression. However, upon arrival at the mansion, the duo quickly discovers that beneath Brian’s facade of healing lies a dark agenda filled with chaos, murder, and bloodshed. Amidst the madness, a surprising throuple dynamic might emerge, leading to laughter, terror, and unexpected connections.
A Unique Cinematic Experience
Described as a psychosexual horror-comedy, Touch Me features 100% practical effects reminiscent of classic cinema, exploring the complexities of co-dependent friendships and the lengths individuals will go to attain happiness.
Many critics and film lovers had the opportunity to watch Touch Me at SXSW last year. They, who experienced it during various summer festivals, were undeniably captivated by its originality.
Touch Me brilliantly blends absurd humor, erotic tension, and a touch of lo-fi science fiction. It’s a rare gem in today’s film landscape, poised to attract a devoted audience that craves erotic thrills interspersed with laughter and a hint of cringe.
