Your Weekly OTT Watchlist

Get ready for another action‑packed week of entertainment! Between December 8 and 14, streaming giants like Netflix, Prime Video, SonyLIV, JioHotstar, ZEE5, and Apple TV are bringing fresh stories, gripping dramas, hilarious comedies, and high‑octane adventures to your screens. Whether you’re a crime thriller enthusiast, rom‑com lover, or adrenaline junkie, this week’s lineup has something for everyone.

1. Real Kashmir Football Club (December 9 – SonyLIV)

Inspired by the true journey of Jammu & Kashmir’s first professional football club, this sports drama follows two unlikely partners—a Kashmiri Hindu and a Kashmiri Muslim—rebuilding hope in a conflict‑scarred valley. Starring Manav Kaul and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, the series captures the grit, unity, and passion that turn local talent into the “Snow Leopards,” aspiring for national glory amidst political and emotional turbulence.

2. Merv (December 10 – Prime Video)

Charlie Cox & Zooey Deschanel Reunite as Awkward Exes in Heartwarming Prime Video Rom-Com “Merv”

A heartwarming rom‑com featuring Zooey Deschanel and Charlie Cox, Merv tells the story of exes trying to reconnect—thanks to a shared dog who’s depressed after their breakup. What begins as awkward co‑parenting turns into a Florida getaway filled with laughter, nostalgia, and second chances.

3. Man vs Baby (December 11 – Netflix)

Comedy legend Rowan Atkinson returns as Trevor Bingley in this festive sequel to Man vs Bee. This time, Trevor’s luxurious house‑sitting gig is derailed when he unexpectedly becomes responsible for a missing baby. Cue wild holiday chaos involving nappies, high‑tech mishaps, and nosy neighbours.

4. Superman (December 11 – JioHotstar)

Directed by James Gunn, this reboot introduces a young Superman balancing his alien heritage with his human life. Starring David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult, the film blends classic heroism with modern tension as Superman faces Lex Luthor and a divided world.

5. Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft – Season 2 (December 11 – Netflix)

Hayley Atwell voices Lara Croft in this action‑packed finale where she races across continents to recover stolen African Orisha masks with mystical powers. Ancient gods, mercenaries, and dangerous secrets push Lara to define the legacy she’ll leave behind.

6. F1 (December 12 – Apple TV)

Featuring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, this racing drama blends cinematic storytelling with real Formula 1 events. Pitt plays a retired driver mentoring a rookie as they navigate the high‑stakes, politically charged world of professional racing.

7. Saali Mohabbat (December 12 – ZEE5)

In this tense small‑town crime thriller, a housewife (played by Radhika Apte) becomes the prime suspect in a double murder involving her husband and cousin. Directed by Tisca Chopra, this tale reveals deeper secrets of passion, betrayal, and deception.

8. Single Papa (December 12 – Netflix)

A feel‑good dramedy starring Kunal Kemmu as a carefree bachelor who decides to raise an abandoned baby. Funny, emotional, and socially relevant, Single Papa explores fatherhood, societal norms, and personal growth.

9. The Great Shamsuddin Family (December 12 – JioHotstar)

Kritika Kamra plays a young writer whose crucial career opportunity is jeopardized when family chaos erupts. Directed by Anusha Rizvi, this witty drama deals with generational conflicts, cultural identity, and personal aspirations.

10. Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery (December 12 – Netflix)

Detective Benoit Blanc (played by Daniel Craig) tackles his toughest case yet—a locked‑room murder in a small‑town church. Featuring an ensemble cast including Josh Brolin, Glenn Close, and Kerry Washington, it’s a gothic whodunnit packed with intrigue and suspense.
